ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Mo Williams, Shooting guard Delonte West, Small forward LeBron James, Power forward Anderson Varejao, Center Zydrunas Ilgauskas. Bench -- F-C Ben Wallace, G-F Wally Szczerbiak, G Daniel Gibson.
PLAYER NOTES: --Cavs coach Mike Brown has no idea what he's going to get from his bench players from game to game. As a result, his rotation has changed repeatedly in this series. Magic forward Mickael Pietrus has outscored the Cavs' bench in this series, 69-56. Overall in the playoffs, the Magic bench has outscored its counterparts, 119-56.
--When 6-foot-11, 265-pound Dwight Howard gets deep penetration into the key, there are few -- if any -- players in the league who can stop him. "They are doing a nice job on the high pick-and-roll and drop," Brown said. "If we can meet him earlier and hold our ground, it would be to our advantage. You have to meet him with some force. At times, there will be some big-time contact in there. When we jump out, we don't want to reach. We want to jump out with our chest and try to be as big as possible." F-C Anderson Varejao has done the best job of defending Howard in the series. C Zydrunas Ilgauskas and F-C Ben Wallace also spent time on him on Thursday.
--F LeBron James is averaging 36.1 points, 9.3 rebounds, 7.3 assists and 1.8 steals in 13 postseason games this season. Thursday, he became the first player to have at least 37 points, 14 rebounds and 12 assists in a postseason game since Cincinnati's Oscar Robertson on March 21, 1963. The Big O had 41 points, 15 rebounds and 12 assists.
MEDICAL WATCH:
--F-C J.J. Hickson has a stress reaction in his back and will be sidelined for the rest of the playoffs.
