Cleveland Cavaliers Roster Report 2009-10-30

Cleveland Cavaliers Roster Report 2009-10-30ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Mo Williams, Shooting guard Anthony Parker, Small forward LeBron James, Power forward Anderson Varejao, Center Shaquille O'Neal. Bench -- Forward Jamario Moon, Forward J.J. Hickson, Center Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Guard Daniel Gibson.

PLAYER NOTES:

--The Cavs' jumbo lineup of C Shaquille O'Neal and C Zydrunas Ilgauskas played considerable minutes against Boston on Tuesday.

"It's nice to have in Coach's back pocket," LeBron James said. "We played well with those guys in the game. That was very positive. It's not something you can use every game. We don't want 'Z' or Shaq on the perimeter."

One drawback could be the Cavs' transition defense.

--The Cavs might have more married players than at any time in recent history. Players that are known to be currently married include F Jawad Williams, C Zydrunas Ilgauskas, F Jamario Moon, C Shaquille O'Neal and G Mo Williams.

"It's a great thing," Jawad Williams said. "Guys are focused. They have goals in life. It's a great situation. Married life is great. My life is simple now. I have no complaints now."

--F LeBron James can't believe this is the start of his seventh year.

"Sometimes I look at the (rosters) and I feel old," he said.

For the record, he's 24 years old.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--F Leon Powe (ACL left knee, microfracture surgery left knee) will miss the first half of the season recovering from the surgeries. He's expected to return in January or February.
