ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Mo Williams, Shooting guard Delonte West, Small forward LeBron James, Power forward Ben Wallace, Center Zydrunas Ilgauskas. Bench -- Guard Daniel Gibson, Forward Wally Szczerbiak, Center Anderson Varejao, Center J.J. Hickson, Guard Sasha Pavlovic. PLAYER NOTES:
--F LeBron James replied, "Nothing," when asked what he learned from former Olympic coach Larry Brown, now coach of the Bobcats. That's when he ended his interview. He ran off the court and let out a primal scream. James rode the bench in the 2004 Olympics when Team USA finished third.
--It was not your typical day at Cleveland Clinic Courts on Wednesday. First of all, a film crew from "60 Minutes" was on hand to work on a story on F LeBron James. Correspondent Steve Kroft and a crew from "60 Minutes" had the run of the practice court. Normally, Cavs coach Mike Brown keeps things close to the vest. On Wednesday, there were people walking across the practice court, cameramen shooting from different vantage points on the court. "60 Minutes" has been working on a James story for several months and will try to show the different sides of him -- the person, the family man, the player and the businessman. It's not known when it will air on CBS.
--F LeBron James has shown another side of himself in recent weeks -? political backer. He appeared with rapper Jay-Z on Wednesday at a Barack Obama rally in Cleveland. "I just try to have an influence," he said. "I think my words speak loud sometimes. Any way I can help. When you want to see change, you try to give your support for a good cause."
--F Ben Wallace had five blocks and 10 rebounds against Charlotte. It was the 100th time in his career he's had at least five blocks.
MEDICAL WATCH:
-- G Eric Snow (knee) will retire as soon as the Cavs receive a disability claim from the insurance company. He's not with the team.
--F Darnell Jackson (fractured left wrist) is sidelined for another month at least. It's going to be hard to break into coach Mike Brown's rotation when he gets back.
