--If the NBA's salary cap goes down to $51 million or $52 million for the 2010-11 season, the Cavs might not have any cap space. Fans can forget about them signing a major free agent like Raptors star F Chris Bosh. The Heat, however, could have enough space to sign a player like Bosh.
--Cavs first-round pick Christian Eyenga has re-signed with DKV Joventut in the ACB (Spain's top pro league). Many thought he had earned a spot on the Cavs' roster with his play at the Vegas Summer League. He averaged 8.8 points and shot 47.2 percent from the field in the five games. The 6-5, 210-pounder can jump out of the gym and is almost a freakish athlete. He was the No. 30 overall pick in the June draft. He took off from almost the foul line in one game for a breakaway slam. There was quite a bit of buzz about him in Vegas. But Eyenga wanted one more year of development overseas. QUOTE TO NOTE: "Overall, Christian Eyenga is doing well. He has a good talent level. Every day, he is getting a better feel for the game here." -- Cavs GM Danny Ferry, on first-round pick Christian Eyenga.
