--In the Cavs' win over Portland on Thursday, they tied an NBA record with two turnovers. The Blazers had zero points off turnovers, the first time that's happened in franchise history.
--Coach Mike Brown said the Cavs have had two contact practices in the last month. "This is the least we've practiced since I've been here," he said. "The guys should be rested. Hopefully, it will help us down the stretch." He said the reason for the lack of contact was a large amount of games bunched together and the mounting injuries. QUOTE TO NOTE: "It comes with being an NBA player. There are a lot of professional guys with a lot of talent. If one guy is not playing up to his level, there's another guy waiting to play. You have to be prepared and be ready for any situation. Me being a team player, I was behind Wally (Szczerbiak) and Sasha (Pavlovic) and whoever Coach was putting in the game, as long as we were winning." -- G Daniel Gibson, on why he didn't get down when he was benched for two games.
