--The Cavaliers decided to go back in the locker room during the Celtics' ring ceremony before Tuesday's game at TD Banknorth Garden. Watching the Celtics get their championship rings wouldn't have been a motivation for the Cavs. "That's stupid," Cavs forward LeBron James said. "We don't need to be out there watching that. We're not fans of Boston and don't need to be out there clapping." Cavs coach Mike Brown said the NBA asked if the Cavs wanted to be out on the floor for the ceremony. "It doesn't make any sense for us to stay out there," Brown said. --G Mo Williams' debut with the Cavs was mediocre. He had 12 points and two assists, but turned the ball over four times. Twice in the pivotal fourth quarter, he was picked by Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo. QUOTE TO NOTE: "I don't try to get too high or too low. The rah-rah stuff is good for football. Here, you have 82 games." -- Cavs coach Mike Brown on being excited for the season opener. Author: Fox Sports Author's Website: http://www.foxsports.com Added: October 30, 2008
