--For the first time since G Delonte West left training camp on Oct. 3 -- on the eve of the Wine & Gold Scrimmage in Akron -- the Cavaliers are whole again. The entire squad practiced on Wednesday at Cleveland Clinic Courts, including West, F/C Ben Wallace (tightness in his back) and G/F Sasha Pavlovic (sprained right ankle). West's absence is still unexplained. He missed six days of practice, the scrimmage and three preseason games. Overall, he was absent for 12 days.
--G/F Sasha Pavlovic practiced for the first time on Wednesday since spraining his ankle last week. He said he's unsure if he'll play against the Spurs. "It depends on how I feel in the morning," he said. "I want to stay positive. I came back (to training camp) in great shape. It was a little setback for me."
MAIN REASON CAVS CAN WIN: They have the best player in the world in LeBron James. He's focused on winning the NBA championship this year. This could be the year.
MAIN REASON CAVS CAN LOSE: Several teams in the East have bulked up, including Toronto and Philadelphia. The playoff seeding is expected to be bunched up and go right down to the wire.
QUOTE TO NOTE: "I'm fine. I'm going through practice. Yes, I'm doing extra stuff to stay afloat and healthy enough to get by. At the same time, surgery is surgery. There's a timetable for it. I have to get my treatment and get my exercises in. I'm not limited in what I can do." -- Cavs G Mo Williams, on how offseason surgery for a sports hernia is affecting him.
