
Ben Wallace probably will be sidelined until the playoffs.
The team announced on Monday he has a left patella tendon strain. The 6-foot-9, 240-pounder didn't travel to Indiana with the Cavs after Sunday's game. He missed the Pacers game and is listed as doubtful for Philadelphia on Wednesday. Wallace was injured in the second quarter of the Boston game Sunday. He underwent an MRI on Monday at Cleveland Clinic Sports Health, which revealed the strained tendon.
The 34-year-old has missed 22 of the last 25 games with injuries.
Cavs coach Mike Brown will give Wallace's minutes to rookie big man Darnell Jackson.
