Cleveland Cavaliers Getting Inside 2009-12-14Anderson Varejao notched his fourth double-double on the season with a season-high 22 points, 10 rebounds, two steals and one block in 36 minutes against Portland on Friday.

He made 10-of-17 shots.

His 22 points are the most points scored by a Cavs' reserve this season.

The bench provided 35 points, grabbed 17 rebounds and made 16 of 29 shots against the Trail Blazers.

The Cavs are also getting good minutes out of Delonte West, Jamario Moon and Zydrunas Ilgauskas.

Over the last eight games, the bench is averaging 35.9 points and 19.5 rebounds and is shooting 52 percent from the field (117 of 227).

CAVALIERS 102, THUNDER 89: Forward LeBron James blitzed the Thunder for a season-high 44 points, as the Cavs snapped a two-game road losing streak.

Guard Mo Williams tracked down a loose ball in the backcourt in the fourth quarter. With the shot clock about ready to expire, he buried 48-foot, three-point bomb.

He finished with 22 points, 11 in the fourth quarter. Williams made 4-of-9 three-pointers.

Williams and James combined to make nine of 17 from behind the arc.

Williams' long shot helped the Cavs take command of the game in the final quarter. The stunned Thunder didn't score again for 3-1/2 minutes as the Cavs put the game away.

James recorded his third 40-point effort of the season for the Cavs (17-7). He scored the Cavs' final 12 points of the first half, as they trailed at the intermission, 54-49.
