Cavs' Wallace plays in opener against Pistons
CLEVELAND (AP) - Cavaliers center Ben Wallace returned from a knee injury and played in the postseason opener against the Detroit Pistons.

Wallace missed the final two games of the regular season with a strained patellar tendon in his left knee. He has been limited in practice, but Cavs coach Mike Brown dressed Wallace for Game 1 on Saturday and inserted him in the final two minutes of the first quarter.

Wallace missed 17 games with a broken right leg before returning April 5. He hurt his knee after coming back.

Cleveland's best interior defender spent a few minutes working out before Game 1 while Cleveland's training staff watched.
